The under 15 football team lost their opening round of the East Cork league to Erin’s Own.  The damage was done in the first half when the Glounthane side had built up a 4-06 to 2-02 lead. Colmcilles made a very spirited comeback in the second half and scored a goal immediately on the restart. Jack Harte and Charlie O’Callaghan were immense in the full-back line and restricted their opponents to very few chances in a second half dominated by Colmcilles. There were penty of opportunities for Colmcilles to narrow the gap and make it even closer. It did not work out on this occasion but there are many positives to be taken from the game.
