This game was also played in White’s Cross pitch on Holy Thursday evening last as part of a double header with the Junior A hurling tie versus Na Piarsaigh. The result was another good one for the under 14s who were in a determined mood to bounce back after their narrow defeat in their opening tie versus Mayfield. This game was over as a contest at the half way mark as White’s Cross had built up commanding 2-10 to 0-01 lead. Shane Buckley go the first of his side’s goals with Eddie Coughlan who amassed 1-12 in total, getting the second. There was no let up for the Dripsey, Gleann Na Laoi lads after the break. They battled gamely throughout but struggled massively to make any inroads into the lead against the a White’s Cross backline that included Sean Delaney and Aidan Docherty who were in top form. Further goals from Shane Buckley, netting his second of the night, Evan Quaine and Ciaran Aitken ensured a comprehensive victory for their side.
