Our Junior B footballers have only won one of their four games played in their league, but have only lost one too, as they drew two games! The most recent of these results was the local derby clash with Rathpeacon, which saw the sides finish up 0-7 points a piece in very wet and windy conditions.
What will be particularly pleasing for Lar Burke and Anthony Kelleher, selectors of this side, is that five minors were used in this encounter, and acquitted themselves very well. Sean Twomey and Paul Hayes who have become regulars on this squad this season, were joined by fellow-minors Luke Cambridge, Cillian Ryan and Robert McElhinney. The Junior Bs are down to play Ballyphehane in their championship opener on May 10th.
