White’s Cross 4 – 03 Clondrohid 4 – 04

We made the long trip to Clondrohid for what turned out to be a very close game, but one where we unfortunately came up just short for a one point defeat. We started well and had early scores from Sean Kelly and Jordan Bransfield. We were on top in midfield through Jack Stuart and Gavin Cronin, and a great save from Cathal Quinlan kept us ahead at half time. In the second half Clondrohid drew level early on.

However a great goal from Jordan Bransfield put White’s Cross back in the frame. Adam Kent and Peter Twomey cleared the danger on several occasions, but a strong finish from Clondrohid gave them a slender lead. Try as we might in the last few minutes the equalising score didn’t come, but credit to both teams for a very entertaining game.
