2007 Annual General Meeting

Annual General Meeting

The Club has at this stage also held its annual general meeting, with a good attendance at the Upper Glanmire Community Centre on the night.  There was no changes in the main officer positions – thus Pat Reid continues as chairperson, Ray Donohoe as secretary and Pat O’ Callaghan as treasurer.

There has been some changes in the various selectors roles.  Paudie Curtain has stepped aside as a Junior A Football selector, with Michael O’ Callaghan taking over.  Similarly Dominic Cahill has relinquished the position of Junior A Hurling selector with Stephen Turpin taking over.  Now that Jonathan Kenneally is stationed in Dublin Paul Noonan has taken over again as Minor Football Coach, a position he also held in 2006 when the team of the time went to the County Football Semi-Final.  Richie Sherlock is also a fresh addition here, as he takes on the role of one of the selectors with Paul.

White’s Cross GAA would like to express gratitude to all those who are vacating roles for their assistance in the past season.  Moreover we wish the new selectors and those continuing in their posts all the best in 2008.  Here’s hoping that in 12 months time each of you will be reflecting back on a job well-done!
