In first league game of the year White’s Cross took on Ballyphehane in White’s Cross. From start to finish White’s Cross dominated their opponents. Feargheal Reid and the outstanding Adam Bransfield were constant threat from half back line,making menacing runs pegging the opposition back at every opportunity. Bransfield kicked a peach of point from 30 yards out in second half.
Captain Killian Ryan was fielding great ball all over the field with spectacular high catches. Scoring a tally of 5 points in total with standout point of great skill from acute angle in first half. Donnacha Fitzgerald also impressed in full forward line with 2 points from play. Paul Hayes did trojan work in midfield engine room. White’s Cross were deserved winners in great display of attacking football.
