The draws for the 2025 Tertiary Cup competitions took place on Tuesday night last in the City Hall under the invitation of the Lord Mayor. White’s Cross were represented by board delegate Michael Coleman and players Cathal Quinlan and Eddie Coughlan.
In the McSwiney Cup football, a competition that White’s Cross have won on ten previous occasions, we will pay Douglas in the quarter final. These sides met in the final of this competition in 2025 with Douglas winning on that occasion.
In the MacCurtain Cup hurling, a competition that White’s Cross have won only once (in 1992), we have been drawn against Bishopstown in the first round. Though, we will not be looking beyond that game , the winners, will face Whitechurch in the quarter-final.
Our second Junior football team have been drawn against St. Finbarrs in the Seandún Cup.
