The U10’s travelled to Shamrocks for their second league game. Shamrock’s were playing with a very strong wind and held the advantage. As the first half went on White’s Cross began to find their form. White’s Cross started strong in the second half, hard work in midfield and good defence, managed to stop Shamrocks from scoring. White’s Cross rallied hard with the forwards having some great scores.
However the Shamrocks goalie pulled off some great saves so we were unlucky not to have more points on the scoreboard. A great effort was seen on the day with the teams being well matched. Unfortunately on this occasion Shamrocks narrowly edged forward by 2 scores.
