Well done to three members of our football squad, namely Murt Kelleher, Edwin Buckley and Paddy O Brien, who lined out for Seandún in their recent Senior Football Championship encounter. On the back of their previous round victory over Avondhu, Seandun were pitted against championship favourites, and defending champions, Nemo Rangers in the third round clash at Pairc Ui Rinn. However the divisional outfit, captained by Kelleher, gave the Capwell side a real fight, losing out in the end by 1-13 to 0-11, with never more than two points separating the sides for the opening fifty minutes.
