Warmest congratulations to local lass Elaine Harte who picked up the Vienna Woods Glanmire Area Sports Star of the Month Award recently. Having been a constant at number one for the Cork Ladies Football Team in their four-in-a-row of All-Ireland successes, it is indeed as co-ordinator of the awards Sean O Sullivan stated, surprising how she had slipped through the radar when it came to picking winners in the past. Well done Elaine, and indeed to all involved in the organisation of this monthly award.
Heartiest congratulations also to Michael Magner, General Manager at the Vienna Woods, who has been an integral part of the success of these awards in recent years. Michael married Annette Scully recently – we wish them both lifelong happiness together.
